They aren't that bad unless you are allergic. They are invasive on the atlantic coast and we cull them on most dives from 60' to 150'+. They live as deep as 300' so we probably make little impact but at least we help our Carolina reefs a little bit while we are diving. Some areas have 1+ sq meter
