Strictly an amateur, but maybe one day I'll sell a print or something. You never know...!
I've been taking photos for many years but with renewed interest over the past few years since upgrading from my film SLR to a DSLR, and have recently taken the plunge (so to speak) into underwater photography.
Just about to embark on a "round the world" trip in a campervan (which my fiancee and I have spent the past year converting from a commercial van) - Africa, India, SE Asia, South America - so hopefully will get some decent shots!
Whilst it may seem rude or presumptuous, I would just like to thank people up front for their
s ; I'm quite busy at work and in the evenings catching up on photo editing so I just don't have the time to reply to everyone individually :(

As you may have noticed I haven't really had the time to use this site lately, or for that matter do much photography... My other half and I are preparing to go on a round-the-world trip in a campervan so all my spare time has disappeared...
When we're away our internet connection will be limited so I suspect I'll only be updating facebook as thats what my friends and family use, so if you want to see the photos as they arrive, as it were, please feel free to add me as a friend on there... I haven't set up a 'photography specific' page or anything yet but may do in due course...

Been away for a while :(

Nothing personal, just been stupidly busy this year and the weather here in the UK has been rubbish, so I haven't been very inspired. Most of the diving trips I've had planned this year have been "blown out" so I've really not taken many photos and what with moving house and such, just haven't been around...
But.... I have finally managed to take a few photos and have a bit of spare time, so hopefully I'll be able to post a few and spend some time looking at your work as well, which I always miss....
Thanks for the birthday wishes, incidentally :)
Watch this space, as they say...... new house doesn't have a phone or internet connection ye

Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas (if you celebrate it!) and prosperous 2012.
I'm off to cook my first traditional "English" Christmas dinner for my other half and her family. Being Spanish, they don't know what to expect, which is probably a good thing, as it probably won't turn out much like a traditional Christmas dinner :D
